Richland Center, WI: Richland County Emergency Management Director, Darin Gudgeon announced this afternoon that, due to complications outside of our control, we are expecting significant delays in the return of test results from the COVID-19 testing event held at the Richland County Fairgrounds on Monday, November 16th. Gudgeon reports “we are doing everything we can to ensure these issues will not happen again, so you will be able to receive notification within a reasonable amount of time. While in the past test results may have been received already today, we are expecting that results will not be available until this weekend. We sincerely apologize for the delay, appreciate your patience, and understand the inconvenience this may cause.”
Richland County Emergency Management is working with the State to ensure all parties have made the necessary corrections, so we can move forward with our community testing events and ensure timely results. Please note that you can be confident in the test results you receive. The issue is only affecting the time in which you would receive your results due to a delivery/processing issue.
