Aging, Disability, & Resource Center
Health and Human Services and the Community Services Building are open to the public. Office and lobby services are available to all individuals. The Community Services Building has been modified to allow for social distancing, many chairs have been removed from the lobby and conference rooms, additional sanitizing and safeguards have been put in place, and staff will be wearing masks when interacting with the public and at times behind Plexiglas barriers. Many services will continue to be provided via telephone, video-chat, telehealth, and in-person meetings in the community when appropriate. Clients and members of the public may continue to call 608-647-8821 for assistance and inquiries.
It is recommended that individuals coming into the Community Services Building wear masks as well.
Health and Human Services continues to recommend social distancing, masking, and practicing excellent personal hygiene to minimize the exposure and spread of the COVID-19 virus in order to keep our staff, clients, and members of the community safe.

Aging & Disability Resource Center
All normal services are available through the ADRC including: Disability Benefit Specialist services, Elder Benefit Specialist services, Information & Assistance services (which includes resources and assistance with Long Term Support Program information and enrollment), transportation services, Family Caregiver Support services, Caregiver Support groups, and dementia care services. Services are available via phone calls, virtual appointments, scheduled in office appointments, and walk-ins. Individuals may call the ADRC at 608-647-4616 for questions and needs.
Adult Protective Services
Services will continue to be available by phone and by scheduled appointments. To make a report of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or exploitation of an adult at risk or elder adult at risk call 608-647-8821 during office hours or 888-552-6642 afterhours.

Child & Youth Services
Child and Youth Services has continued to provide in person services on a limited basis. We continue to assess for the needs of families on a case by case basis and utilize safeguards when conducting in person contacts and home visits. Phone calls and virtual visits will still be utilized to provide services and supports to children, youth and families as an alternative or supplement to in person contacts. To make a report of abuse, neglect, or a child welfare concern, call 608-647-8821 during office hours and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department at 608-647-2106 afterhours.
Economic Support Specialist
For assistance with FoodShare, Health Care, or Child Care benefits, you can apply by using the ACCESS website: www.access.wisconsin.gov, by calling 888-794-5556 Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or by stopping by the Community Services Building, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to complete a paper application. Documents or premium payments may continue to be mailed, placed in the drop box near the front entrance, or be dropped off at the main front desk. If you are homeless and need to pick up your Quest Card or MA Card, it is preferred that you call 608-647-8821 to check for mail first. The lobby is open for pick-up.
For customers in need of a Vault Card, it is requested that you call 608-647-8821 to schedule an appointment.
For Energy Assistance, call 608-647-8821 to schedule an appointment or have a paper application mailed. Or, stop by the Community Services Building, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to complete a paper application.
The senior meal sites have been closed until further notice. Home-delivered meals will continue as scheduled and can be offered as an option for those in need. Requests for home-delivered meals can be made by calling the Senior Nutrition Program at 608-649-5937. A hot meal option is available in Richland Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It is called “Grab’n Go” and reservations for this meal option can be made by calling 608-649-5937. Public Health Services
Due to the public health emergency, some services have been scaled back or suspended. TB tests and childhood immunizations are being provided by appointment only at this time. Please call 608-647-8821 and ask for a Public Health Nurse if you would like to schedule a date and time for these services.
